About My Clients
I work with individuals, teens, couples, and families. My favorite clients are healing from spiritual or religious trauma, LGBTQIA+, wanting to fight diet culture, wanting to embrace their true selves, wanting to recover from addictions or betrayal trauma, and seeking therapy so they can feel more comfortable in their own skin.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois. I am trained in marriage and family therapy and am currently pursuing a doctorate in the field of couples and family therapy. Even when I work with individuals, my systemic lens influences my counseling work and gets results for my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe first and foremost in client autonomy and self-direction. My role is to help you decide what you want and need in your life and to support you along the way. I believe every person deserves respect, love, and safety.
