About My Clients

My practice welcomes adults, couples, adolescents, veterans, and first responders ready to engage in self-discovery and healing. I specialize in addressing addiction, grief, trauma, mental health disorders, and issues concerning gender and sexuality. Dedicated to supporting the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, I ensure an inclusive, affirming therapeutic environment for all.

My Background and Approach

I draw on a rich foundation of clinical training, including community mental health and a predoctoral internship at the C.G. Jung Institute, complemented by personal practices like meditation, cold water swimming, and the therapeutic use of plant medicines. This diverse background informs a holistic approach that integrates traditional psychotherapy with innovative modalities, tailored to each client’s unique needs. I aim to foster deep self-awareness and sustainable change, believing that effective therapy goes beyond alleviating symptoms to transform the core relational dynamics influencing an individual's life. My work is rooted in the conviction that understanding the self is the first step towards a more fulfilled and meaningful existence, empowering clients to navigate life's challenges with resilience and integrity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is a radical act of resistance, inherently political and transformative. This perspective shapes my commitment to fostering deep self-awareness and empowering individuals to challenge societal norms that may impede their mental health and well-being. I hold that true healing involves engaging authentically with both our inner world and the broader societal contexts. As we navigate and refine our internal landscape, we enhance our ability to contribute positively to our communities and embrace our roles as agents of change. My therapeutic practice is a space where personal growth catalyzes broader societal transformation, encouraging clients to live with greater integrity and participate more actively in both personal and communal spheres. Through understanding ourselves, we unlock the potential to effect profound change in the world around us.
