About My Clients
Do you feel emotionally exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from yourself? To others, you seem strong and capable, like you have it all together. But on the inside, you feel like you're hanging on by a thread. Many of my clients are the people others depend on: the caregivers, helpers, healthcare workers, and LGBTQ+ folks who carry so much for everyone else that they've forgotten how to care for themselves.
My Background and Approach
I offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can set some of that weight down. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and explore the experiences that have shaped you. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can reconnect with yourself and the parts of you that may have been overlooked while surviving. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck as they navigate burnout, grief, anxiety, identity, self-worth, and seasons of change. My background in hospice, community mental health, and crisis intervention has shaped how I show up:with empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s story. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I tailor our work together to honor your experiences, strengths, and the goals that matter most to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm particularly passionate about LGBTQ+ issues. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I know what a gift it can be to find a therapist who truly gets it...not because they've read about your experiences, but because they bring their own lived understanding. While everyone's journey is different, there can be real comfort in knowing you don't have to overexplain, translate, or defend who you are. I believe every person carries a story that deserves space: to be spoken, witnessed, and honored with care. Therapy should be a place where all parts of you are welcome.
