About My Clients
I love working with folks of color who have a general curiosity about their internal dialogue & have an interest in making tiny but impactful adjustments to improve how we feel about & navigate the world. It's important in my work to celebrate points of success and begin dancing instead of wrestling with our sadness or irritation. I also complete immigration evaluations for VAWA, Hardship Waiver, U Visa, T Visa, & Asylum cases.
My Background and Approach
With my mindfulness training and interest in integrating Internal Family Systems, paying attention to how we physically react to those points of pain and joy is where we can begin making some movement! I also love sharing a meme, a quote, an article, or even a gif to help feel more connected with understanding our feelings.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My upbringing and life experiences as a Filipina American growing up in Queens, NY have taught me that it’s truly up to us to take care of ourselves; when we take care of ourselves, we take care of everyone around us. Being a child of immigrants, I understand the importance of being culturally-sensitive to others’ experiences and learning more about them from their perspectives. My core values of honesty and dependability help create a strong foundation of unbiased support for my clients.
