About My Clients

You may look strong on the outside while feeling exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or weighed down by past experiences. I support adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life changes. Together, we will create a space where you can feel understood, develop practical coping skills, rebuild confidence, and begin feeling more like yourself again.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I support adults and adolescents experiencing trauma, anxiety, stress, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I have completed Part 1 of EMDR training and earned 21 continuing education hours, allowing me to incorporate trauma-focused techniques while continuing my advanced training. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I draw from person-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and EMDR techniques to help you understand emotional patterns, manage distress, build healthier coping skills, and feel more confident in your daily life. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, work through what has been weighing on you, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up as their full self and feel accepted, respected, and understood. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know how important it can be to have support from someone who understands the value of identity, connection, and belonging. I care deeply about mental health awareness, trauma recovery, suicide prevention, equality, and creating safe spaces for people from all backgrounds. I also believe that being strong does not mean you have to handle everything alone. Reaching out for help takes courage. My approach is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can breathe, be yourself, and talk openly without fear of judgment. Outside of counseling, I value family, creativity, advocacy, community, and spending time with animals. My hope is that every client feels seen, supported, and reminded that healing is possible.
