About My Clients
You may been struggling with getting out of bed, finding pleasure in activities you enjoyed doing before, and you don’t have the energy to spend time with loved ones. You worry about the unexpected, fear uncertainty, or you’re unable to sleep because you can’t stop thinking about what you need to get done the following day. You want to feel heard, to reach your goals, and find clarity to solve your problems. I'm here to provide you with as many tools to help you confront these challenges.
My Background and Approach
I have over 6 years of experience in the mental health and substance use field. My specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, panic attacks, anger management, and substance use. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and an eclectic approach. I enjoy reading and completing trainings to assist me in helping you gain empowerment and control of your life. I tailor my therapy sessions to what best fits you. So whether this help is for you or your adolescent, reach out! You already took the first step in searching, so call me or send me an e-Mail to set up a free consultation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in ending the stigma related to mental health; especially in my own Hispanic culture. I do my best to volunteer, advocate, and train others to feel equipped in helping their families, friends, and coworkers. I am a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and AS+K gatekeeper trainer. These certifications have helped me to deliver as many trainings as possible to those in my community and to begin the difficult conversations related to mental health. I believe we all struggle with anxiety, depression, and stress at one point in our lives; and through my own personal journey with therapy, I have learned there is help available for every circumstance, no matter how big or small. The first and hardest step is getting started.
