About My Clients
I help Latina/Latinx adults facing trauma, family or relational stress, caregiving challenges, and cultural pressures, including immigration-related stressors. Many are navigating parenting, estrangement, or past trauma. My approach is bilingual, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed, offering a safe space to rebuild clarity, connection, and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I’m a bilingual Latina LICSW with a Doctorate in Education (EdD), specializing in supporting Latina adults and professionals navigating trauma, family conflict, cultural stress, and immigration-related challenges. I bring experience in helping clients process complex relational dynamics, recover from past trauma, and find clarity while balancing caregiving and family responsibilities. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, honoring your identity, history, and strengths. Therapy with me is a space where you can finally exhale, feel seen, and rebuild connection and resilience at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a Puerto Rican bilingual Latina LICSW raised. My personal and professional journey is guided by a commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care, inspired by my personal and professional lives experiences. I’m passionate about uplifting Latino/Latinx and LGBTQIA+ communities, advocating for marginalized families, and supporting clients navigating trauma, family challenges, and cultural stress. I believe in collective action—Juntos, We Rise!—and in creating spaces where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. Outside work, I enjoy cooking, reading, TV, and time with family and friends.
