About My Clients
As a queer and neurodiverse therapist, I love working with ADHD, Autistic, LGBTQIA+, and/or BIPOC communities. I understand the frustration of being part of a marginalized community that wants and need support. I use a warm and humanistic approach to support you in navigating difficult seasons in life. If you've ever felt like you're crashing and burning out never meeting your 'full potential'. I might be the therapist for you!
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 6 years of overall field experience. I specialize in working with ADHD/Autistic and LGBTQIA clients. We use HIPAA secure telehealth/video conferencing to address shame, guilt, and frustrations typical to living a neurodivergent life. My approach is warm and friendly. I prefer for my clients to feel safe enough to share what they choose to share. Therapy is a place where together we can consciously choose to be in alliance with each other.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTQ community and have supported local events and causes. I was diagnosed late with ADHD and feel very strongly about ensuring that other ADHD/Autistic folks get evaluated. I believe very strongly in social justice and love helping my clients navigate through tough situations where their identities may clash with local culture and expectations. Transgender and questioning clients are safe to explore aspects of their identity without feeling shameful to exist where they belong.
