Grief is a natural and human response to loss, which is experienced through the lifespan. Grief/loss can be experienced in various forms, caused by a wide range of situations and events such as death of a loved one, loss of identity, life transitions, change in health, loss of independence, struggles with infertility, miscarriage, and loss of dream. Grief can feel lonely and isolating but you don't need to do it alone. Let me support you though your healing journey.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a psychodynamic, integrative, and holistic approach. I believe within a strong therapeutic relationship individuals can feel safe to begin processing difficult feelings and emotions. I work with you to uncover how past experiences influence current decisions, feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Incorporating mind-body-spiritual awareness, mindfulness, breath-work, grounding techniques and art. This approach supports clients to work through difficult emotions, understand behavior patterns, transform negative feelings, and become more empowered. I strive to create a comfortable environment where you feel safe to be vulnerable, creative, curious and your true self. Incorporating my personal experiences into my professional role as a therapist is a powerful way to make a positive impact on my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a mom who's in a club you never want to find yourself I am passionate about severing other mom's who struggle with a variety of losses, especially mom's of children with special needs. I believe it's our birthright to live with a sense of peace and tranquility! My mission is to empower you to take control of your life by embracing your unique stories, fostering resilience, and accepting life as it is, ultimately leading to increased life satisfaction.
