About My Clients
I have help clients that suffer from anxiety, depression, stress, and problems with life stressors. I take a holistic approach to helping clients improve their lives. I look forward to helping you learn the tools to overcome depression, anxiety and stress.
My Background and Approach
My approach is to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I always start where my client is currently in life. We will work together to address the problems you are having at this time. My goal is to help you learn coping skills to use that will allow you to decrease your symptoms and develop new patterns of behavior that will provide you with peace and comfort. Mental health is very important in a person's day to day life and decreasing stress or stressors is important to an overall better quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that anyone can learn new ways of thinking to improve their lives. I think every person is capable of changing. I think mental health issues are related to unhealthy learned behaviors that we receive from others as we grow up and become adults. So, if you can learn unhealthy behaviors then it quite possible for you to learn healthy behaviors. I love being outdoors most of the time unless it is sweltering hot! I enjoy tending to my goats and dogs. I do not discriminate, and I am gender affirming.
