About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. They may struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I enjoy helping people discover their strengths, build confidence, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
My Background and Approach
As a former U.S. Marine and retired USPS letter carrier, I understand that life's challenges can take many forms. My experiences have taught me the importance of resilience, perseverance, and having someone who truly listens. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I strive to provide a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to reach their personal goals at their own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, regardless of what they have experienced. Therapy is not about fixing someone; it's about helping people better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop the skills to overcome life's challenges. I value honesty, respect, empathy, and collaboration, and I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
