About My Clients
My ideal client would be emerging adults seeking to individuate from their family of origin and working towards defining/creating their own identity. They will be able process and resolve their family history and generational challenges as they work towards defining themselves. These emerging adults will be motivated to engage in processing their traumas and working towards self-exploration in a safe space.
My Background and Approach
As a psychotherapist I have over a decade of experience in providing counseling with a wide spectrum of populations, particularly in working with family members of adults living with a mental illness and/or substance abuse. Family members are given the support needed and provided with psychoeducation in order to support a loved one with a mental illness while also taking care of their own mental health. My areas of expertise include Antisocial Personality, Anger Management, Behavioral Issues, Borderline Personality, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Life Transitions and Psychosis.
