My Background and Approach
I ground myself in (and often go down rabbit holes) studying the following modalities of therapy: Somatic Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Brain Spotting & Somatic/Attachment Based Couple or Family Therapy. My history includes includes years of working with youth, teens and families. I truly enjoy a diverse range of ages and families.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy learning and staying up to date with relevant and fresh modes of therapy. The people I am working with, however, truly guide the way I work. Most find me active, present, funny and deeply attuned. As a person who often shares identities with my clients I bring myself, and my lived experience into the space, when it is appropriate. I feel strongly about dismantling the “old way” of therapy where therapists are the experts. Navigating the rage, the heartbreak and the belly laughs of life together is a gift I have been given in healing spaces and I use as a compass for how to connect.
