About My Clients
You think deeply, feel intensely, and often carry more than you show. You may be navigating trauma, the complexities of adoption, anxiety, grief, or unfulfilling relationships. You crave understanding, not quick fixes. Maybe you're an adoptee exploring identity and loss, or someone stuck in painful patterns. You're insightful, curious, and ready to explore what's beneath the surface—not to be “fixed,” but to know yourself more fully.
My Background and Approach
I work from an attachment-based lens to help uncover the deeper roots of emotional distress. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where you feel truly seen and heard. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, as well as those navigating the complexities of adoption, offering a thoughtful, culturally sensitive space for healing and growth. I integrate evidence-based trauma treatments with psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies. This allows us to address both current struggles and the deeper patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I believe in balancing practical tools with meaningful insight, so you gain both immediate relief and lasting change. Whether you’re exploring identity, stuck in painful patterns, or seeking deeper understanding, we’ll work together toward healing and greater emotional resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a psychologist, I believe in creating a therapeutic space rooted in respect, equity, and inclusivity. My work is guided by a commitment to racial justice, recognizing the profound impact of systemic inequality on mental health and striving to address these challenges within and beyond the therapy room. I aim to empower individuals from all backgrounds while acknowledging and validating their lived experiences. I believe in supporting individuals in making choices that align with their values and circumstances, particularly when navigating deeply personal and often challenging decisions. I approach therapy with compassion and a nonjudgmental stance, fostering a safe space for exploration and healing.
