About My Clients

You may be the person who always says yes, takes on the extra work and keeps going long after you’re exhausted. Perhaps you’re burned out, questioning your career or struggling to set boundaries without feeling guilty. ADHD or executive functioning challenges may make it even harder to keep up. I work with young professionals and adults who want work and relationships to stop taking everything out of them. We’ll find changes that work in real life. To work with me, book through my website.

My Background and Approach

My style is warm, practical and conversational. We’ll talk about what is happening now, but we’ll also look at the beliefs underneath it. You may have learned that being useful makes you valuable, that saying no lets people down or that rest has to be earned. Therapy can help us question those ideas and find something that works better. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy. We may practice setting a boundary, build coping skills for difficult moments or find ways to manage organization and communication challenges. I’ll explain why we’re trying something rather than simply giving you a worksheet. I’ll also check in on your goals, celebrate what is changing and gently challenge you when you’re falling back into a familiar pattern. Therapy can move at your pace. Some weeks we may push forward, while others may call for slowing down.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I know something about burnout from the inside. I left a high pressure career and have worked in the nonprofit and healthcare fields, where boundaries can be almost nonexistent. When caring, helping and going the extra mile are part of the culture, protecting your own time can feel selfish even when you know you cannot continue as you are. I believe boundaries are essential to self-care, not something you earn after reaching a breaking point. Growth can be uncomfortable because it often means undoing beliefs that have shaped how you work and relate to people for years. There may be vulnerability and tears, but there can also be laughter. Whether you’re ready to dive in or only dip a toe, we’ll begin from where you feel comfortable.
