About My Clients
You look like you have it all together, but inside you're exhausted, disconnected, and quietly wondering why nothing ever feels like enough. You've tried thinking your way out of it. You've achieved more, pushed harder, and kept going. And the voice is still there. If you're a high-achieving woman in Scotch Plains, Westfield, Summit, or anywhere in New Jersey who's done managing and ready to actually heal — you're in the right place.
My Background and Approach
You've spent years being the one who holds it all together. The capable one who manages everyone else while quietly drowning in your own exhaustion. You understand your patterns — you've probably done therapy before — and still nothing has changed in your body. That's not a you problem. That's a method problem. Anxiety and self-esteem struggles don't live in your thoughts. They live in your nervous system — the tight chest, the racing heart, the 3am spiral, the exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix. Talking about it only goes so far. At Be Seen Therapy I use somatic therapy and AEDP because insight alone doesn't change how you feel. Real change happens when your nervous system finally gets the message that it's safe to rest. With 20+ years of clinical experience and AEDP Level 2 training, I work with your whole system. You don't have to keep living like this
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you already know something needs to change. That quiet knowing is worth trusting. I believe healing isn't about becoming a better, more productive version of yourself. It's about remembering who you were before you learned to hold it all together. I believe feeling your feelings isn't dangerous, but I understand why it feels that way. Your experiences taught you that emotions were too much, too messy, or too risky. That lesson made sense then. It's costing you now. I believe you can hold grief and gratitude at the same time. Exhaustion and love. Pride and emptiness. Feelings aren't problems to solve. They're information your body has been trying to deliver for years. I believe being truly seen( not the capable version of you, but all of you) is one of the most healing experiences available to a human being. That's what I try to create in every session. And I believe the bravest thing you can do isn't push through. It's stop pretending you're fine when you're not.
