Focusing on exploring the impact of life's big transitions on us, I believe when we gain insight and understanding about ourselves.
My Background and Approach
With over 6 years of clinical experience, I am skilled at establishing trust and respect by being approachable, personable, and knowledgeable. What we are experiencing does not define us, in learning effective strategies to challenge our symptoms and have the right support, we can find who you are again. I offer a holistic approach to therapy, providing clients with concrete tools to work through difficult emotions by using mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and self-care skills. I also help clients build insight into how past experiences, such as their own childhoods and relationship with their parents, may be currently impacting them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am currently pursuing a certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I am passionate about promoting the importance of self-care to my clients and practicing what I preach outside of work. In her downtime, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my husband, daughter and our three cats. We were never meant to navigate life alone, so I'd be honored to be part of your support system. I understand life is busy and demanding. I offer online and in person sessions to accommodate your schedule, mornings and afternoons.
