About My Clients
Are you feeling stuck in repetitive arguments, disconnected from your partner, or overwhelmed by heavy emotional patterns? My ideal clients are couples, families, and individuals in Maryland who are ready to move beyond surface level quick fixes. Whether you are navigating relational conflict, carrying long-held internal burdens like perfectionism or self-doubt, or seeking deeper spiritual alignment, I offer a compassionate, safe space to heal and reconnect with your authentic Self.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Gottman-trained educator, and IFS-trained practitioner, I take an integrative approach to therapy that honors both our inner world and our relationships. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of perfectionism, self-doubt, shame, or disconnection, or caught in painful communication cycles with a partner. Together, we explore what’s underneath those patterns and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and systemic approaches, helping you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and your parts while creating more room for clarity, compassion, and choice. I also welcome spiritual, intuitive, and mind-body perspectives when they are meaningful to your healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people have a remarkable capacity for healing, growth, and change. Beneath the defenses, survival strategies, and old wounds we develop along the way, there is often a deeper sense of Self that can help us move through life with greater clarity, courage, and compassion. I have deep respect for each person’s unique path. Whether you are working through relationship struggles, a difficult transition, or simply trying to feel more at home in yourself, I believe therapy should make room for the whole person. I believe there’s no human suffering that can’t be made better, absolutely none. It’s important to me to show respect to each and every part of you, including your skepticism and doubts. They have a special place in this work. And they, too, can be transformed.
