About My Clients
Many of my clients are physicians, residents, and medical professionals navigating burnout, imposter syndrome, and relentless expectations. Medicine is a culture that rewards endurance and excellence — but rarely leaves space for reflection. Over time, many high-achievers begin to feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to create a life that feels sustainable. Therapy offers a confidential space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself — without sacrificing your ambition or purpose.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and professional coach specializing in the mental health of physicians, residents, and high-achieving professionals. With over 25 years of clinical experience, I understand the unique pressures that come with high-responsibility careers: perfectionism, imposter syndrome, moral injury, and the emotional demands of caring for others. My work combines emotional support with practical tools to help clients: • understand patterns that keep them stuck • develop healthier boundaries • regulate stress and emotional overwhelm • reconnect with their values and sense of identity Many of my clients grew up in environments where failure wasn’t an option and success defined self-worth. Together, we work to challenge those patterns and create a more sustainable way forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m deeply committed to supporting the well-being of physicians and medical professionals. The culture of medicine often normalizes exhaustion, self-sacrifice, and constant performance. Over time, this can affect not only your career but your sense of identity, relationships, and overall well-being. I believe therapy can be a place of clarity and recalibration. A place to slow down. A place to reflect. A place to reconnect with your authentic self. You don’t have to keep pushing through alone. My goal is to help you build a life and career that honors both your ambition and your well-being.
