About My Clients
Are you curious about the ways your childhood and past influence the present? Most of my clients are millennials and Gen Z adults who are experiencing challenges with life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
It’s natural to experience unhelpful patterns or symptoms when we've experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. We feel off balance, chronically stressed, anxious, or depressed. I prefer to view these symptoms as inner parts who need our attention and care. Sometimes talk-therapy isn't enough and we need something more experiential to work more deeply. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and am passionate about helping clients tend and befriend the parts of themselves that need support and healing. As your therapist, I'll help you explore your parts and connect with yourself in new ways through meditation, self-dialog, and art. Beginning therapy is a call to adventure. It’s a journey of self-discovery that can feel dark at times, but can ultimately lead to great insight, compassion, and wisdom. Therapy is a powerful journey. And you don't have to do it alone. I’m here to guide and support your inner quest.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view symptoms as inner parts who need our attention and care. In the midst of daily life, we often overlook or push away parts of ourselves. But what if we really looked inside and listened? I think the world would look and feel very different if we offered ourselves - our parts - care and attention. When part are seen and healed, they feel less compelled to ruminate, obsess, or depress. That means there is more space for the qualities you want to have in your life, such as creativity, joy, confidence, clarity, peace, and presence. I believe we all have the innate capacity for growth and healing, no matter our histories or traumas.
