About My Clients
As an over thinker myself, I love to work with adults and young adults on managing their anxiety. Learning and practicing mindfulness based skills (being present in the present moment) can be a powerful antidote to anxiety I also enjoy working with clients on laying the foundations for positive mental health, such as looking at sleep, exercise, and nutrition patterns. Creating health habits around these three things can have a significant effect on our mental health.
My Background and Approach
I have been trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and also use a strength-based approach to therapy (think "what went well this week?" versus "what went wrong this week?"). I have an innate belief in seeing the good in people and in life and enjoy working with clients to discover their own inherent strengths, as well as their own creative outlets. I would love to work with you to create more Mindful Moments in your life!
