Robin Eldert

My holistic approach to therapy integrates aspects of traditional clinical therapeutic modalities with elements of mind/body therapy. I act as a thoughtful and empathetic clinician allowing clients to openly share their problems and concerns in the safety of a supportive and non-judgmental environment. I provide my clients with the tools that they will need to help them navigate their challenges. Whether it is working together with an individual to help reframe their past cognitive beliefs not serving them well, or a family/child/individual that struggling through the challenges and pain of separation/ divorce, I will help to assist you in your journey to find meaning, peace and resiliency through the process.

I believe that everyone has times in their journey through life when their challenges can be overwhelming. I also believe that everyone can change and grow at any time I their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because of our unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that a person can unlearn faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I have life experiences which provide me with a wealth of knowledge to assist my clients through many of life's challenges. Some of these experiences include being a daughter engaged in the caregiving/death of parents with Alzheimer's/dementia, an individual who has experienced divorce and the aftermath, an individual who has had anxiety and eating issues, and a mother of four stepchildren and a biological child blending a family.
