About My Clients
I work best with individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns of disconnection, shame, or anxiety and want something deeper than surface-level change. Many of my clients are high-functioning but exhausted—pastors, professionals, and parents trying to hold everything together. My approach helps them slow down, make sense of their emotions, and create relationships marked by honesty, courage, and genuine connection.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) with experience helping individuals, couples, and groups work through patterns of shame, anxiety, and disconnection. My approach blends Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and parts work, guiding clients to better understand the emotions and stories shaping their relationships. I’ve worked extensively with pastors, professionals, and parents who feel the weight of responsibility but long for deeper connection and authenticity. My background in education and therapy allows me to create a space that’s both structured and compassionate—helping clients move from reactivity to awareness, from self-criticism to self-compassion, and from isolation to meaningful connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At my core, I believe people are wired for connection. Healing happens when we feel safe enough to be honest—with ourselves and with others. My faith shapes my view that every person carries inherent worth and the capacity for renewal, no matter their story. I value courage, integrity, and authenticity—showing up fully and helping others do the same. I’m passionate about supporting emotional health in church communities, advocating for open conversations around vulnerability, and helping people reconnect to what truly matters. Whether I’m in the therapy room, the classroom, or behind a podcast mic, my goal is the same: to create spaces where people can slow down, be seen, and grow toward wholeness.
