My Background and Approach
EMDR is an empirically based treatment modality effective at treating many diagnoses and showing real change for the long term. Together we will focus on forming a relationship so you can properly work through whatever struggles you might be experiencing. We will learn how to manage anxiety and fear, intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, depression, nightmares and more! My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to therapy is simple: meet the person where they are at in this moment. Lets start where you are and get to where you would like to be. I believe in the tenacity of the human spirit and the power of positive therapeutic relationships. Together we will approach therapy from a strengths based perspective while also being inquisitive. I am EMDR and CPT trained for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I also use CBT and DBT skills. There is no cookie cutter approach and I will individualize to each person's needs.
