About My Clients

I work with people who want to improve their lives in ways that feel meaningful to them, even if they are not yet sure what that looks like. My clients often come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are ready to reflect, try new approaches, and make intentional changes. I work with men, couples, and individuals navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, which help clients clarify what matters most to them and take action that supports the life they want to live. I also incorporate select DBT-informed skills when helpful, while not practicing DBT as a primary modality. I view therapy as a collaborative and empowering process rather than something done to a client. We focus on building insight, flexibility, and practical tools that can be used outside of session. My primary practice is virtual therapy, and I have extensive experience creating meaningful connection and momentum in an online setting.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy exists within social, cultural, and political systems and cannot be separated from them. I am anti-ICE, pro-sex work, and a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement. As a white practitioner, I value working with people of color and actively acknowledge the power dynamics that can exist in the therapy space. I approach this work with humility, accountability, and a commitment to ongoing learning. I am an active member of the LGBTQ community and strive to create an affirming, respectful space where clients do not need to explain or justify their identities. Outside of therapy, I enjoy running and training for half-marathons, which reflects my belief in consistency, growth, and showing up for what matters.
