About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My clients often seek both structure and reflection- someone who can offer tools as well as space to explore. I help clients develop insight, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I've spent 15 years working in community mental health and state psychiatric hospitals, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of challenges. My decade in community mental health involved helping people with serious and persistent mental illness, while my hospital work deepened my understanding of crisis and recovery. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT, and other trauma-informed approaches, using an eclectic style tailored to each client's needs and goals. Currently, I'm pushing training in psychodynamic psychotherapy to integrate more insight-oriented work into my practice. My style is collaborative, supportive, and occasionally irreverent - I aim to create a space that's both practical and deeply reflective.
