About My Clients
If you’re looking for tools to navigate tough emotions, feeling stuck, or looking for somewhere to be the real “you,” you’ve come to the right place.
My Background and Approach
I integrate practices from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy depending on the needs that present themselves in our work together. I’m a former educator, school social worker, and currently direct mental health programming for a large school district. I received my master’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that building a strong connection is the most important part of therapy. I hope you feel empowered, encouraged, and that you have someone who is willing to sit with you through bumps in the road in our work together. I also want you to feel that you will walk away from our time together with tools that you can use in your everyday life. I believe that folks seek therapy for a many different reasons—feeling down, stuck, hopeless, different, in need of new skills to manage their emotions—and I work to create a tailored approach in my work to match your goals.
