About My Clients
Do you feel stuck, held back by your past and unable to move forward? I help adults who are seeking help with a range of challenges such as healing unresolved past traumas, alleviating somatic symptoms related to stress, anxiety and past traumas (headaches, muscle aches, and other emotional manifestations in the body), managing anxiety and depression, navigating life transitions (such as new jobs, relationships, or starting college), coping with stress, processing grief and loss and more.
My Background and Approach
Since my early years, I've been described as naturally curious and as the kid who asked too many questions—a trait that might have been a bit annoying to my parents back then but has undeniably become an asset in my professional journey. I earned my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and subsequently fulfilled the requisites to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Starting as an in-home therapist focused on work with children and families, I gradually transitioned towards working predominantly with adults. As time progressed, I honed my expertise in assisting individuals with a background of trauma and anxiety, finding myself drawn to this area. Equipped with training in therapeutic approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting, I've had the privilege of witnessing remarkable transformations.
