About My Clients

The world in which we exist tries to fit us into a box - wearing us down to “one thing” that it can easily define & label. You are much more than just “one thing” and much more than a label. I’m here to recognize the many unique parts that make up who you are as a whole. Maybe you feel like you’re living on the margins of several identities, never quite “enough” for any of them. Maybe you’re questioning the identity you’ve always known. Whatever brought you here; welcome – you are not alone.

My Background and Approach

I am an intern finishing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, with an emphasis in multicultural and social justice counseling. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. I recognize that there are many beautiful facets and unique experiences that make you who you are, so therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. My style is empathetic, genuine, creative, validating, and collaborative. Therapy with me is a space to be unapologetically yourself - free of judgment, stigma, and all the other shit you deal with on a daily basis. Together we can explore the way in which external forces like family, culture, society, and systems of oppression have shaped you. My approach gives you the opportunity to examine your past and gain understanding of how it is affecting your present.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy is for everyone. It is a space to be unapologetically yourself - free of judgment, stigma, and all the other shit you deal with on a daily basis. I am passionate about breaking down barriers and making therapy more accessible for underserved individuals. I work with adults and adolescents of all backgrounds struggling to live authentically and define themselves in a world obsessed with labels.
