I have experience working with individuals navigating bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, and I approach this work with both clinical knowledge and compassion. I support clients in understanding mood patterns, managing emotional highs and lows, and building practical tools for stability and self-awareness. My goal is to create a steady, supportive space where clients feel empowered to make sense of their experiences and develop strategies that help them feel more balanced.

I approach my work with a strong commitment to multicultural competence and an ongoing practice of cultural humility. I recognize that each person’s identity, background, and lived experiences shape how they move through the world. I strive to create a space where those experiences are seen, respected, and explored. I view race as an important and meaningful aspect of many clients’ lives. I welcome open, thoughtful conversations about how it impacts identity, relationships, and mental health.

I have completed an internship at a Center Against Sexual Assault, where I trained extensively in trauma-informed care. I empathize with how challenging the healing process can be, and I'm here to guide you through reclaiming your sense of control and emotional well-being.

I have completed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training through King County, Washington, and have experience facilitating DBT skills groups for clients. In my work, I draw from the evidence-based model developed by Marsha Linehan, integrating core skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I am comfortable teaching and reinforcing these skills in both individual and group settings, helping clients apply them in real-life situations.

I have a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use it to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives that support emotional well-being. Through practical tools and structured interventions, I help clients build skills they can apply in their daily lives.

I am a certified EMDR therapist through EMDR International Association, which reflects advanced training and demonstrated competency in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I use EMDR to help clients process and heal from trauma, distressing life experiences, and deeply rooted negative beliefs that may be impacting their present functioning. EMDR treatment allows for increased clarity, resilience, and a more adaptive sense of self.
