About My Clients
Maybe you’re healing from things you don’t talk about—or things you thought you moved past, but still feel in your relationships, boundaries, or the way you see yourself. My clients often want to understand those connections, change familiar patterns, and make space for their own needs. You don’t have to know where to start or have the perfect words. We can figure it out together.
My Background and Approach
I earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNC Pembroke. My approach blends person-centered care and cognitive behavioral therapy with a warm, down-to-earth style. We’ll explore how past experiences show up in your thoughts, relationships, and responses today. Together, we’ll make room for what needs attention and find practical ways to move toward the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you can appreciate how you survived and still want to change the patterns that helped you get through. Your experiences, culture, and values matter, and you deserve space to explore them without judgment. Healing doesn’t have to mean having everything figured out. It can begin with honesty, curiosity, and feeling safe enough to be yourself.
