Clients with trauma histories and PTSD symptoms is my specialization, and the only type of client that I work with in my practice.

Dissociation is a very natural defensive mechanism the nervous system uses when navigating overwhelming life circumstances. Most of my clients experience dissociation, and I am well versed on how to recognize and treat it.

Attachment wounds stemming from difficult childhoods have a very profound effect on a person's sense of self-worth and sense of safety in the world. I collaborate with clients to identify these wounds and heal the fallout from them.

A related therapy to EMDR that utilizes eye position to help focus in on the part of the brain that is holding the trauma.

Understanding how infants bond with their caregivers, and how to help treat an individual where this hasn't happened in an ideal way, is a cornerstone of trauma therapy and essential when working with those with childhood trauma.
