About My Clients

My ideal client is someone who is not afraid of the hard work that sometimes comes with therapy and/or meeting those parts of yourself that you feel like you want to run from. My most successful clients are those who are ready for change, open to being challenged and motivated to push through their difficulties in order to live their best lives. I also believe that being your authentic self is vital to the process as well as having a good sense of humor is also helpful too!

My Background and Approach

I have been practicing as a professional therapist since 2011. I have had the privilege to work with a variety of populations in need from forensic settings, behavioral medicine units in hospitals to private practices. I consider myself a Trauma-informed provider, and believe that what we experience in our lifetime has the potential to affect how we view ourselves, others, and our relationships with them. My approach is founded in making meaning of our negative experiences as well as examining our core beliefs about who we think we are that may have been impaired by trauma. By learning to challenge distorted assumptions about ourselves, we learn to live better and reclaim our lives back.
