About My Clients
Are you interested in making your relationship better, while your partner doesn't feel ready for change? I'll help you along that process until couples therapy begins. I work with patients wanting to improve themselves and their relationships and are in the middle of a relationship crisis because they see that they have changed and their marriage has changed. I use CBT and the Gottman approach. I see students, creatives, FAANG, tech start-up managers/Ph.D researchers, and teachers.
My Background and Approach
I take a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) approach weaving research from these areas into a consilient framework that examines the mind. The mind and brain are defined and discovering components necessary for optimum health are discussed from a Humanistic perspective. It's important to calibrate our systems by integrating the left and right hemispheres of the brain by working through belief systems. When working with patients, I help them move from a place of stuck repetitive negative thoughts/beliefs a move to a more realistic picture of events that we sometimes don't see under the influence of depressive or anxious chemicals that flood our bodies. My goal is to help you work through this, helping you discover more about yourself and achieve optimum health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I promote health from a humanistic, non-judgemental pathway where patients can feel comfortable being themselves, telling me their stories, and opening up in a safe and secure atmosphere to explore positive change.
