My Background and Approach
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help you understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns. Together, we’ll work on reducing overthinking, managing anxiety, and responding to situations with more clarity and confidence. Many of my clients struggle with people-pleasing, self-doubt, and difficulty setting boundaries. I help you recognize these patterns, challenge them in a realistic way, and develop healthier ways of coping. I also bring a culturally sensitive lens to therapy, particularly for clients navigating South Asian family dynamics, expectations, and identity. Our work will focus on both insight and practical tools, so you can create meaningful changes in your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that many of the struggles we face—like anxiety, overthinking, or guardedness—develop as ways to cope with earlier experiences. These patterns are not flaws, but learned responses that can be understood and changed. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your decisions, and more balanced in your relationships. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace.
