Embarking on the journey of therapy is a courageous step towards self-discovery and personal growth. By seeking therapy, my hope is to provide a space that is warm, comfortable, safe and supportive to encourage exploration of valuable insights, developing coping strategies, and working towards achieving personal goals. My Background and Approach
In the beginning of my therapist journey, I wasn't entirely sure which place I felt most called to, that was until I started originally with folks struggling with eating disorders. Eating disorders are often symptoms of underlying issues, such as trauma. This lead me to becoming trauma-informed and finding the best ways to treat those who have struggled with trauma in their life. I pull from a variety of modalities, however some of the ones I use most often are IFS, DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI, and Narrative Therapy. Each of those modalities provide something special as it pertains to tools in one's toolbox. I believe through the collection of options, we’ll find a balance that works best for you!
