My Background and Approach
You are dynamic and complex. Multiple in-roads are needed to explore your deepest self. I use psychological astrology to integrate your unique birth chart within the therapy process. Additionally, I will teach you body-centered techniques to unlock patterns that have settled into your body. We will use energy psychology modalities like "tapping", or Emotional Freedom Techniques to free energy blocks that formed around traumatic experiences and childhood emotional wounds. Your spiritual self will be given voice to integrate your life philosophy and practices that nurture and support your spiritual expression. We will dig in and take a real look at how old scripts and limiting core beliefs are impacting your life and relationships NOW. I will help you build your self-awareness as you move into the next phase of life. You will be able to walk away with a toolbox of skills that address the body, mind, emotions, spiritual and energetic aspects of your whole being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Astrology has been the most significant and consistent guide post in my life. I found my first astrology book at the age of eleven. Over the years I have come to focus on the practice of psychological astrology as a tool for personal transformation. Your birth chart is a map of themes and energies specific to you, so let's use it! Through my study of astrology I found other soul opening practices like tarot, meditation and paganism. My Scorpio sun/Cancer moon led me to study both massage therapy and body-centered psychotherapy. I work with the energy systems of the body through different practices like Reiki, the chakras and EFT (Tapping). I am driven toward integration and holism. The complexity of the human experience is messy, but that complexity is also what holds us together when things get rough. I believe that addressing multiple aspects of our experience is the best way to bring about true, lasting inner knowing and health.
