About My Clients

My ideal clients may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain—but are open to exploring treatment options and committed to feeling better. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, build insight, and find relief. Whether you're new to mental health care or returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are and move forward together.

My Background and Approach

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. My clinical experience spans psychiatry, corrections, and progressive care units, giving me a broad perspective on mental health and the resilience of those I serve. I specialize in treating adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use concerns. My approach is grounded in evidence-based care that is both compassionate and practical. I take time to understand your unique history and goals, so we can create a treatment plan that feels both effective and manageable. Whether you're seeking medication, support through a difficult time, or clarity about your symptoms, I aim to provide a calm, respectful space where you can heal at your own pace. My goal is to make care approachable, collaborative, and personalized to your needs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, judgment-free mental health care, and I’m passionate about creating safe spaces for individuals from all walks of life. I am an advocate for mental health awareness, stigma reduction, and health equity, particularly in underserved and marginalized communities. I support causes that promote racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and trauma-informed care. I understand how personal identity, culture, and life experiences shape mental health, and I work to ensure that my practice reflects that awareness. I also care deeply about community healing and believe in the power of connection, education, and advocacy to create lasting change. Outside of work, I enjoy engaging with mental health education efforts and supporting organizations focused on suicide prevention and holistic wellness. I strive to meet every client with empathy, openness, and a genuine commitment to helping them feel seen, safe, and supported.
