My Background and Approach
My background includes extensive work with highly traumatized populations. I have worked with the ludicrously wealthy in a boarding school setting for four years, in a residential facility for pregnant & parenting teenagers, worked in Cambodia with survivors of genocide, and worked with schizophrenic and/or bipolar people experiencing homelessness. There is not much I have not seen regarding trauma. I am considered the severe & persistent mental illness expert at the community mental health clinic I work with. It is rare (if ever) for me to believe I cannot work with someone or they are beyond help. I do not believe in keeping people in therapy forever. The goal of therapy is for you to no longer need it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a vocal LGBTQ+ ally, promote anti-racism within and outside of session, and believe your diagnosis is simply a roadmap to healing (not an entire identity).
