About My Clients
Since you’ve made it to my page, you’re likely tired of holding in tears and silent screams just to get through the day. You’re the helper, the leader, the one everyone relies on, and yet you feel as though your needs go unseen. I work with women who carry emotional and physical stress while appearing “strong.” In our work together, you don’t have to hold it all you unpack what’s heavy, at your own pace, in a safe, affirming space.
My Background and Approach
Are you the one everyone turns to—but no one checks in on? I work with women leaders, entrepreneurs, and high-achievers carrying invisible emotional burdens despite outward success. My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and identity-affirming. I combine CBT, somatic awareness, and exploration of nutrition, environment, and emotional patterns to support healing from the inside out. I also offer therapy intensives for deeper work, including the CEO Self-Care Intensive, a private two-day experience to reset your nervous system, release burnout, and reclaim calm. I hold a B.S. in Anthropology from MSU and an MSW from Grand Valley State. My early work focused on families affected by substance use; today, I help women heal childhood trauma while navigating leadership, growth, and legacy in their personal and professional lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcome. As a Black woman and therapist, I bring lived and clinical insight into how racial trauma, cultural expectations, and systemic oppression impact mental wellness. I stand for anti-oppressive, trauma-informed care and support movements like Black Lives Matter, mental health equity in BIPOC communities, women’s rights, women’s health rights, and food justice, recognizing that access to nourishing food is essential to healing. I regularly engage in trainings on cultural humility and social justice. Outside of therapy, I am passionate about supporting women and all in leadership and helping clients reconnect with rest, joy, and self-trust as acts of resistance, empowerment, and healing.
