About My Clients

My clients are people pursuing nontraditional relationships in friendship, romance, sex, kink, and family. Whether you're a polyamorous couple navigating communication or jealousy issues, a queer family navigating difficult decisions in a hostile world, or a neurodivergent person navigating relationship scripts that weren't made with you in mind, you're wanting clarity and support in finding a new normal outside of traditional cultural norms. I'm here to help you find your unique path forward.

How I Can Help You

As a narrative therapist, I'm trained in recognizing narratives big and small, identifying where they come from, taking them apart, and building up new narratives that fit the lives of my clients better. I take a warm, nonjudgemental, collaborative approach with the goal of building your capacity to make and embrace your new normal. When we get started, we'll set our intentions together, build capacity and resources in the present, move through your most pressing concerns at a pacing that feels right for you, and make space for historical traumas and narratives as they come up. We'll then periodically check in about how things are going.

What I do instead is create a container for a process that is specifically attuned to your needs, and I trust your capability to move through that process. I relate from a point of view of being in a process of my own and I'm not afraid to let the "mask" of professionalism slip when you need more of a human touch. I know you have a lot of therapists to choose from, and having this much choice can be quite overwhelming. I believe in most instances, there can be more than one right answer. It often comes down to how you feel in your gut about a person or situation. If you feel intrigued and like we might be a fit, I'd urge you to rea
