My clients are resilient and working towards breaking the cycles of generational trauma by creating new paths, traditions, and coping strategies. My clients trust that working through and learning from past experiences develops confidence and healthy coping skills. My clients believe that well-being is grounded in self-awareness and connection to the body. My clients are motivated to build the skills that allow them to participate fully in healthy relationships.
My Background and Approach
I see your strengths first, and I nurture mindfulness so you see yourself from a more positive light right from the start. I use relational therapy techniques, with threads of narrative therapy. I believe all people can be their best selves and have the capacity to create the changes they desire. You are the expert of your experiences, goals, and passions and I am the coach that helps you be adaptive, brave, and strong.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know that harmful coping and patterns negatively impact our ability to maintain wellbeing, and I chose for myself to break free from generational cycles of trauma. I believe my experiences provide empathy for how hard this work can be, and I myself am an example that we can heal. I believe in the collective thread among the oppressed and that division is deeply rooted in the separation of ourselves from land and our bodies.
