About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals who feel "stuck" in the hum of anxiety or the hurdles of ADHD and are looking for a therapist who feels like a real human being. You might be navigating a major life transition or processing past trauma. You’re looking for more than just a listener; you want a collaborative partner who offers fresh, "outside the box" perspectives. I work best with those ready to explore their story in a safe, lighthearted, yet deeply meaningful way to find lasting ease.
My Background and Approach
With a Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University and years of clinical experience, my approach is rooted in humanistic and trauma-informed care. I move away from the "blank slate" style of therapy. Instead, I use a relational, conversational approach to help you connect the dots between your past experiences and your current mindset. By blending clinical expertise with genuine empathy, I help you develop actionable strategies for managing ADHD and anxiety. My goal is for you to leave our sessions not just feeling "heard," but feeling equipped with the tools and insights needed to rewrite your future. We will work together to challenge old patterns and build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in healing. My practice is built on the values of inclusivity, authenticity, and humor. I am committed to providing a neuro-affirming space where ADHD is understood and supported, not just "managed." I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be their unfiltered selves without judgment. Outside of the office, I am a firm believer in the power of community, continuous learning, and the importance of mental health advocacy for all.
