About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming and you don’t have to face it alone. I work with individuals struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, our work together will help you uncover what matters most . My hope is that you leave each session feeling more grounded, empowered, and ready to move forward with confidence.
My Background and Approach
My approach is to come alongside clients with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration to help you understand yourself better. Therapy should be a safe place to discover, explore, and become more connected to yourself and others. I use an integrative approach to therapy drawing on different therapy modalities depending on your needs. I am informed by person-centered, internal family systems, cognitive behaviorial, junigian, and psychodyamic therapy. I have a particular interest in grief and loss, times of transition, infertility, depression, anxiety, trauma, spiritual growth, and issues around adoptive parenting. I approach counseling with compassion and cultural sensitivity and warmly welcome individuals of all backgrounds and identities. I offer in person and viritual sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent dignity of every person and that we all have the capacity for growth. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and my role is to support clients in their growth and awareness. I continue to work on navigating my own history of grief, loss, and trauma. I have lived experience as an adoptive parent in a transracial family.
