About My Clients
My practice is focused on working with neurodiverse adults who need help moving past difficult life events or emotional experiences that keep them stuck and/or vulnerable to emotional disconnection, anxiety, trauma or relational pain. I work from a neuroaffirming, sociocultural affirming lens to support those who have had difficulty accessing their emotional world, and connecting their head and heart so they can access their inherent wisdom within and heal.
My Background and Approach
Using Somatic Experiencing, attachment, Brainspotting and IFS approaches, we explore practical tools that promote resilience, emotional regulation and healing so the life you want can be within your reach. Using a culturally sensitive, neuroaffirming approach, we will work together to address your needs, build skills to support your emotional wellbeing, and cultivate the necessary conditions for your heart and soul to heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy can help with a wide range of concerns from personal growth to the healing of painful experiences. The context in which we all live presents unique challenges around issues of race, ethnicity, culture of heritage, societal pressures, gender, neurotype and sexual orientation. While I have invested a significant amount of time and resources into deepening my understanding and skill, I am always in pursuit of learning more deeply. I welcome clients who wish to approach their healing from a holistic lens, explore the parts of themselves that have been difficult to experience and cultivate the conditions needed to heal deeply.
