About My Clients
My ideal client is one who is searching for counseling for the first time or has a new or ongoing life stressors that has resurfaced. That want to be heard in a safe, non judgmental, and confidential environment. As part of the human race; we all have skeletons in our closet. We all have made mistakes.Believe me I make some daily, and even make some continually. We are all vulnerable. We all have what we show the world and what we show a select few.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years experience working with individuals(adults, couples and families)the majority of my career has been working with the acutely and chronically ill, their caregivers and families.My focus is on the totality that makes my patients unique. Whether they are in school, have a PHD, or are a stay at home mom (or dad)or working an 80 hour week.I have worked with individuals who are single, married, in a committed relationship, or polyamorous. I have experience working with individuals that are heterosexual or part of the LGBTQ community.My goal is to help you through whatever issue or issues you identify as bringing you (individual, couple, or family) to therapy.I will provide you with the tools to cope with the issues both now and in the future. If either of us determine it is not a good fit due to any limitations or any other issue/reason I will work to refer you to another professional who can help you.
