About My Clients
I specialize in providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ adults. Clients who enjoy working with me typically either have concerns related to sexuality/gender identity (i.e., coming out) and/or want to work with a therapist who is specifically connected to and trained in working with the LGBTQ+ community.
My Background and Approach
My work is informed by my devotion to social justice and hope for a better world. My clinical approach is grounded in a relational, feminist orientation, which means I emphasize the importance of authentic connection and collaboration in therapy. Interventions I typically integrate into sessions include strategies such as self-compassion, mindfulness, and values exploration. I also strive to help clients understand how societal influences shape their experiences and empower them to reclaim agency for themselves and their communities. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ adults and creating a safe, affirming space for all clients. Together, we’ll explore your unique story and work collaboratively to help you meet your goals.
