About My Clients
If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, you might relate to things I often hear from clients: "No matter how hard I try, I can’t get these thoughts out of my head." "I thought I'd be happier by now." "Ever since I had my baby, I don't feel like myself." "My mind is constantly racing—I just can’t relax.” “Is this normal? Should I feel like this?" If any of this sounds familiar, you don’t have to face it alone. With the right support, you can move past these overwhelming thoughts and find relief.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, I work with high-achieving women and teens facing anxiety, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, depression, and mood challenges.Using tools like DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), I guide clients in managing intense emotions and behaviors. But here's the key: while these tools are effective, what truly matters is finding a therapist you genuinely connect with. I take a warm, direct, and down-to-earth approach to therapy—no judgment, no pressure, just a space where you can be yourself and work through things at your own pace. I believe in a little humor, a lot of honesty, and most importantly, genuine connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe excellent therapy is rooted in evidence-based care, providing you with strategies that truly work. Therapy should be both supportive and challenging; because while growth isn’t always easy, it’s always worth it. Most importantly, I believe that no matter how stuck you might feel, you have the tools to create a life worth living; sometimes, you just need a little help accessing them.
