About My Clients

Anxiety and depression can cloud our judgment, closing us off from ourselves and others. We may feel paralyzed, unable to move forward with goals, continually engaging in self-destructive patterns of thoughts and behavior. Perhaps you have achieved some goals, yet still feel empty and “not good enough.” Maybe you’re going through a life transition, such as becoming a new parent, dealing with illness, grieving a loss, or confronting a previous trauma. You don’t have to face it alone.

My Background and Approach

My clients find me compassionate, warm, humorous, and inviting, as well as a great listener. They appreciate my use of evidence-based modalities, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and hypnotherapy, to help each client achieve their personal goals. I hold space for clients to cope with difficult feelings and emotions, and help bring self-awareness and understanding to patterns of thought and behaviors. I aim to help clients increase self-compassion, find meaning, build resiliency, gain insight, decrease suffering, and facilitate joy and growth. I strive to create a healing space where clients can express themselves with vulnerability and authenticity during challenging times. I am passionate about helping people find more spaciousness and ease in their life by instigating positive change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I use an integrated approach to focus on the entire individual (body, mind, spirit). I am trauma-informed and holistically oriented, with experience treating anxiety, depression, body image, relationships, grief, and recovery from complex trauma. I am a mindfulness practitioner and yoga instructor, who will help you reconnect with your body. I welcome clients from all racial, cultural, religious, spiritual, and ethnic backgrounds, and am LGBTQ+ affirming. Born and raised in New York City, I moved to Atlanta in 2007, after having lived for years in California, Mexico, Guatemala, England, and Italy. In my free time, I love to do yoga, run, cook, eat, travel, hike, bike, and spend time with family and friends, including my dog Miele.
