About My Clients
Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. You might struggle with constant overthinking, intrusive thoughts, anxiety that won’t turn off, periods of depression, or questions about identity and direction. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, and identity-related challenges who want both deeper understanding and practical tools for change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative and grounded in several evidence-based therapies. I often draw from psychodynamic therapy, which explores how early experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence present emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns, along with mindfulness-based strategies and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to strengthen emotional awareness, reduce reactivity, and build psychological flexibility. At the core of my work is a person-centered approach, meaning therapy is collaborative and guided by your goals, values, and unique experiences. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, identity concerns, and trauma-related challenges. My style is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental while also being thoughtful and direct, allowing space for honest exploration and meaningful growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel comfortable showing up as their full selves. My passion for mental health is both professional and personal. I understand how challenging it can be to navigate depression, self-doubt, and difficult life experiences. I’ve been a mental health advocate for over five years and feel strongly about reducing stigma around therapy and emotional well-being. I value authenticity, collaboration, and building genuine therapeutic relationships. My goal is to support both prevention and long-term growth, helping clients build clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
